Practice Returns
Become familiar with the basics of data entry and electronic filing in Drake Software
with hands-on activities. Use the supplied information to practice data entry and
create returns in the program. Use the training electronic filing returns to practice
e-filing and correcting reject codes. Access the training returns in PDF from the
Drake Tax Software CD or online at

Software Manual
The Drake Software manual is a comprehensive resource with more than 400 pages of
helpful information, updated throughout the tax season. The hard copy of the manual
is delivered with the first shipment in January, and can also be accessed from within
the software, or online. The manual includes detailed information on topics
such as program navigation, electronic filing, federal packages, banks, state returns,
and support resources.

The Drake Help System
Access Drake Software's Help System from within the software. The Help System includes
screen-specific and field-specific information as well as steps for completing returns
in the program. The user-friendly Help System offers three ways to access data:
by topic, index, or keyword search.

Resource Guide
The 2008 Drake Software Quick Reference Guide includes data
entry tips, frequently asked questions, and other helpful hints for preparing business
and entity returns with Drake Software.
