What is the purpose of the Tax ID Number field on the INT and DIV screen?
This field was added for state use on the interest and dividend screens. There are some states, including CT, IL, MD, MI, MN, NH, RI, and UT, that require the Tax ID Number for different reasons, and to e-file.
