My CA 3885 is not generating. How can I generate a CA 3885 in View/Print mode?
If you have the CA DEPR screen filled out and still are not seeing a CA Form 3885 in View/Print mode, ensure that you also have data entered on the federal 4562 screen in data entry. To check this, go to data entry in the return and choose the Assets-Sales-Recapture tab. On the right side, you will see the federal 4562 Depreciation - Detail Items screen. This screen must have data entered on it for the software to generate CA Form 3885 in View/Print mode.
