How can I clear Maryland EF Message 0141, regarding the entry of a payer EIN?
Maryland EF Message 0141 reads:
0141 Payer EIN must be present.
To clear the EF message, you must enter a payer Tax ID Number (EIN or SSN) under Payer Information on all DIV and/or INT screen(s) that are present on the return. This is a requirement for e-filing Maryland returns.
This entry is required for Maryland e-filing, even when the INT or DIV screen has been entered for a different state using the ST drop list.
