Drake Accounting®: When doing ATF payroll for a client who calculates it by hand, the software calculates a different amount.
Drake Accounting® uses the annualized calculation method to generate withholdings. If the client is using a different calculation method, there may be discrepancies.
The calculated amount can be changed when entering the check(s). After selecting the employee at Employees > Payroll > ATF, click on the figure you want to change and enter the desired amount.
Note: Amounts that have been manually entered or overwritten will show in red font when reviewing the check in the ATF Payroll screen.
