When will I be able to e-file NC returns? How can I resolve rejects NCBUS-1250 and NCBUS-1255?
e-Filing of NC returns through Drake Tax is available now. Per the NC DOR, processing for 2021 returns was delayed due to the late approval of the state budget. For more information, see the NC DOR announcement.
03/01/2022 UPDATE: NC individual processing is now open. There may be a delay in acknowledgements while returns are processed that were filed prior to the open date.
03/07/2022 UPDATE: NC business return processing is now available.
Rejects NCBUS-1250 and NCBUS-1255 are resolved with NC patch 13 released on March 08, 2022. To correct affected returns, download all program updates, recalculate the affected returns, verify amounts being calculated on the K-1 Supplemental Schedule, and then retransmit the returns.
