Iowa Update 17

• S Corporation and Partnership Packages:
  • The check box "From other PTEs on K-1s" has been added to IA screens NCR and RCR. Unless this check box is marked, IA credits on Schedule B of Forms IA 1120S and IA 1065 default to being earned by the entity.
  • IA PTE-C returns have been approved for e-file.
• Fiduciary Package:
  • The calculation for line 24 on Form IA 1041, page 4, is now printed. No calculations were affected.
• S Corporation Package:
  • IA S corporation returns have been approved for e-file.

Michigan Update 14

• Individual Package:
  • Qualified retirement income received because of a deceased spouse that have a "Pension type" of "4" on screen 1099 will now be included on MI Form 4884 in all cases.
• Cities Individual Package:
  • Banners have been removed from all MI Battle Creek and Hudson forms.

Montana Update 7

• Individual Package:
  • An update prevents reject "DRKPARSE" on element "PassThroughEntityWithholding" when an amount is present for the spouse and not the taxpayer on line 4, "Pass-through entity tax from Montana Schedules K-1," of MT Form 2, page 11, Other Payments and Refundable Credits Schedule.

New Jersey Update 7

• Individual Package:
  • Text regarding unclaimed and special exclusions has been added on Worksheet D Other Retirement Income Exclusion (NJ WK_D).
  • The amounts on Worksheet E Other Retirement Income Exclusion - Part-Year Residents (NJ WK_E) are now calculated as intended.
  • Amounts entered on federal screen 1099 with "M - Military" selected from the "Pension type" drop list no longer flow to page 3 of Form NJ-1040.
  • The amounts produced on NJ Worksheet G are now calculated as intended for Married Filing Separately returns.
• Partnership Package:
  • "Schedule J is obsolete for 2023. Use the NRA screen instead" text has been added to NJ screen J.

Ohio Update 20

• Individual Package:
  • Blank estimated payment vouchers are now produced for OH SD 100 returns when either of the following is entered on federal screen ES:
    • An "ES code" of "P" - An "Overpayment" override of "0" (zero),
    • Ohio Universal Payment Coupons (OUPCs) are no longer produced for OH SD 100 returns when making electronic payments.
  • An update prevents reject "OH-PIT-027" regarding OH Form SD 100.
  • An update prevents reject "DRKPARSE" on element "ResidenceAddress" regarding Columbus Form IR-25.

Washington Update 6

• Individual Package:
  • An update prevents reject "DRKPARSE" on element "USResidentialAddress."

Wisconsin Update 6

• Individual Package:
  • The intended status is now displayed on the "EF Status" column of the Calculation Results window for WI Schedule I.
  • An update prevents reject "DRKPARSE" on element "WisconsinDepreciation."
  • The electronic funds withdrawal due date now defaults to April 15, 2024, when no date is entered on federal screen PMT.
  • The intended amount is now produced on line 40, "Medical care insurance," of WI Schedule M when WI Form 1PR is present in the return.
• Partnership Package:
  • The intended section 754 depreciation is now produced on line 13, "Other deductions," of WI Schedule 3K-1.
• S Corporation Package:
  • Print alignment has been adjusted on line 3, "Enter 2022 net tax plus...,," of WI Form U.
• Individual, Corporation, and Fiduciary Packages:
  • The year "2013" has been added to WI screen CF.
