Generating CSM Data Reports
To generate reports based on the CSM Data, click Reports. A "CSM Reports" dialog box opens. The type of report can be selected, and then generated, from CSM Reports.
Report Types
- Client Status Manager Data – This report is based solely on the data in the current view of the CSM Data List. Only the data fields currently displayed are included in this report.
- Cash Receipts – This report lists actual cash amounts received from either a bank deposit or client payments entered on the BILL screen in data entry.
- Cash Receipts – Bank Deposits – This report lists actual cash amounts received from bank deposits.
- Cash Receipts – Client Payments – This report lists actual cash amounts from client payments entered on the BILL screen in data entry.
- Completed Returns – This report lists client SSN/EINs and Client Names of returns with a Completed status. The date completed comes from the TRAC screen, which is auto-set when the preparer chooses a status of Complete from the Data Entry toolbar. The complete date can alternately be set directly in the TRAC screen.
- Problem Returns – Old Returns – This report lists returns taking longer than specified number of days to complete.
- Problem Returns – Missing Files – This report scans client files to determine if any are missing. Two different status types are possible within this report. The first is File Deleted, which indicates client files that have been removed using the Tools > File Maintenance > Delete Client File action within the software. The second is File Not Found, which indicates a client file that does not exist in the current data path. Files with this status may exist outside the current data path you may want to have the administrator check the settings in Setup > Data Locations when this status is given.
