Date on return

Mark this box to have the current date printed on the return. To change the date printed on the return (or the due date on letters and filing instructions), enter the desired date on the PRNT screen.

Print dates for taxpayer and spouse signatures (excludes 1040)

Select this option to print the signature dates for taxpayer and spouse signatures on the return (excluding 1040).

Taxpayer phone number

Select this option to print the taxpayer’s phone number entered on screen 1.

Third party designee

Select the preparer number of the preparer designated as the third-party designee to be printed on the main form of the return.

Interest and Penalty Calculation

Calculate penalties and interest on returns filed after the due date based on interest rates entered.
