The PA City Tax Rate Editor is used to set up other local city tax rates and forms for the state of Pennsylvania only. Use this editor for local city forms not including Philadelphia and Pittsburgh tax forms.

Select the municipality for the local tax from the drop list. The default address from the database is the Zero Due address listed in the Municipal Tax Information website provided by the state of Pennsylvania. A balance due and refund address can be obtained from the Municipal Tax Information site, or from the paper form if provided by the municipality. Tax rates are subject to change and should always be verified.

The local tax form chosen will default to the Dollar or Cents rounding, as determined in Setup Options. This option may be set to Cents rounding for a specific municipality, based on their individual requirements. If your municipality requires cents, the correct information must be entered on the federal return. For example, in the federal W-2 screen, the amount of local wages and local tax may show "5,000.75" and "50.55" for totals to be carried to the local return. If your rounding preference in Setup Options is not set to pennies, you can force cent rounding by using the CTRL+F command.
