Account Type

    • Account Types. Choosing one of these types, the 'Incoming Mail Server' and 'Outgoing Mail Server' settings are populated for you. You may choose to setup your account manually.

Account Information


    • Name/Description – Type in the name or a description for the email account.


User Information


    • Your Name – Type in your name as used by the email account being entered.
    • Email Address – Enter the email address corresponding to the account being created.


Server Information


    • Incoming Mail Server – Enter the incoming mail server information as set by your email provider. This is setup automatically for you if you chose a type in the previous screen.
    • Outgoing Mail Server – Enter the outgoing mail server information as set by your email provider. This is setup automatically for you if you chose a type in the previous screen.
    • More Settings POP Account or IMAP Account.


Login Information


    • Username – Enter the username must be equal to the email address above in the field marked Email Address.
    • Password – Must be the password for your email account, not a Drake password.
    • Remember Password – Select this check box if you want our application to remember and store your email password. If you choose not to check this box, you need to type in your password each time you send/receive emails.


Test Settings


Clicking the Test Settings button passes the entered information to your email service provider, testing and verifying the connection and your information. You must receive a "Test succeeded" message to use the email account.  If you receive "Test Failed" double-check your Add Account settings.
