16995: 1040 - EF Message 5790 - Expired ID

Banking Generally

How do I clear EF Message 5790 regarding an expired ID?

EF Message 5790 states:

EXPIRED ID: The taxpayer's or spouse's ID form has expired. Verify the date of expiration on the form of ID and either request a valid form of ID from the taxpayer or correct the date entered on the IDS screen.

This message will be generated when one of the bank screens (EPS, RA, TPG, RB, RF) has been completed and the ID entered on the IDS screen for the taxpayer and/or spouse has an expiration date that is earlier than the current date. Open the IDS screen in data entry and verify that the correct dates have been entered for the Expiration date field for both the taxpayer and spouse (if applicable). If the ID has expired, and they do not have another type of eligible identification, the return will not be eligible for a bank product.
