How can I change the language displayed in Drake Tax?
You can choose what language (English or Spanish) you want to use for software menus, data entry, help text, and EF messages. For information about producing federal forms in Spanish, see Related Links below.
It can be changed for all preparers by going to Setup > Options. On the Data Entry tab, there is a Language Options section on the right side. You are able to select either English or Español from the drop boxes.
It can also be changed for specified preparers by going to Setup > Preparers. Select the desired preparer, then select Edit. In the bottom right of the window, select either English or Spanish in the Preferred Language drop box.
You can also choose to print a Spanish comprehensive result letter globally or individually.
To set this up globally, got to Setup > Options. On the Optional Documents tab, select 10 - Comprehensive Spanish Result Letter (All Tax Types) in the Letter Options section.
To set this up individually, go to the return and then select the LTR screen on the Miscellaneous tab. For the Letter #, select 10 Comprehensive Spanish Result Letter (All Tax Types).
