Drake Accounting®: What is the Location Code on the Indiana Quarterly Payroll Report for 2018 and prior?
According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD), the Location Code is the location code that has been assigned to a multi-reporting unit business.
In DAS, you will see a blue information icon (
) that explains what the location code is (see screenshot below). If the business does not have an assigned location code, enter "000" in the Location Code box.
If you change the location code on the form to "000", make sure that the Employer TID Location should also be set to "000" under Client > e-File Options tab.

Beginning with 2019, the IN Quarterly Report form was changed and no longer requires the location code to be printed on the form.
