Drake Accounting®: How do I make mouse free journal entries?
Drake Accounting® automatically defaults to Quick Entries within the Accounting module.
When entering transactions within the journal, the Quick Entries option allows you to type in items for the Journal, Date, Account, and Division rather than having to select it with the mouse from the drop down menu. If you click the Insert key on your keyboard it will create a new entry and if you click the Delete key on your keyboard, it will delete your transaction.
Click Save once you are finished entering journal entries.
If you are running Drake Accounting® on a laptop, you may have to hold down the function (Fn) key to get the Insert or Delete keys to work properly.
