16642: IL - 1040NR Gambling Winnings

To get the gambling winnings to flow to the “Other Income” line in columns A and B, on IL Schedule NR, select Lottery Winnings on federal screen W2G.

This box is used for state purposes only and does not have a corresponding field on the issued W2-G or impact the federal return. In addition, per the field help: 

Mark this box if the amount entered was received from the Illinois State Lottery or Illinois gambling winnings (even if the taxpayer was a resident of a reciprocal state). When this box is marked, the amount from line 1 of Form W2G is included in IL Schedule NR, “Other Income,” columns A and B.
