15555: NC - Taxpayer Receives Confirmation Email for Estimates

If the taxpayer's email address is entered on federal screen 1 and there are NC estimated taxes that have been generated and selected for e-file on screen ES, then the taxpayer will get a confirmation email for each voucher that has been scheduled for withdrawal. For example, if all four NC vouchers have been set up for e-file and electronic withdrawal, the taxpayer will receive four (4) separate confirmation emails after the return has been e-filed. These emails are from the NC DOR and indicate that the estimated payment has been arranged for each voucher.
