Do I have to register with the CA FTB in order to e-file in California?
The Franchise Tax Board (FTB) no longer requires e-file providers to submit a separate enrollment application to electronically file individual or business tax returns.

Once you receive your IRS EFIN, you can verify your California enrollment by contacting CA e-Programs Customer Service at (916) 845-0353.
