14170: ND - EF Message 0020 - Income Source Code

ND EF Message 0020 reads:

Form ND-1 - Income source code missing.
North Dakota asks for you to select an income source code from the income source codes listed on page 9 of the Form ND-1 Tax manual. You can use CTRL-? to list the codes.

To resolve this error follow either of these simple steps:

1) Enter the appropriate school code on Federal screen 1, Name and Address.

2) Use the override, provided on ND screen 1, General Information.

To clear this EF Message, from the ND state data entry, go to screen ND1 General Information. At the top of this screen, choose the appropriate Income Source Code. ​This field is colored light blue to indicate that this field is required field for e-file (see Related Links below). For a list of available Income Source Code numbers, either use the drop down menu or click in the field and press F1 on your keyboard. Making a selection in this field will clear this EF Message.
